Today we’d like to introduce you to Vikrum Singh “rocky” Kandola
Hi Vikrum Singh “ROCKY”, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Rocky Singh Kandola & Hair Maiden India
I am a 38 year old Indian businessman born in New York City and living in Los Angeles. I’ve founded companies, which operate online as well as in physical locations in Beverly Hills, California and Destin, Florida. I am a felon as well as a Philosophy Graduate (both) from the state of Alabama. I spent my teenage years in 9 different lock down facilities, boarding schools, private/public schools, and boot camps across the world, a few of which are now closed due to severe child abuse, rape, torture, and killings. I have almost died at least 8-10 times, that I can recall. Half of my face and jaw are fake from an attempted murder on my life. I’ve been shot at, stabbed, kidnapped, and kicked in the face. I’ve had over 20 major surgeries in my adult life. I have been hurt, I have hurt, and I have seen hurt; up close.
I also am loved, have seen love, and love openly. I have amazing friends and family in almost each continent in the world. My business allows for me to travel freely and meet these amazing souls across our planet. I can converse in 4 languages and will hold a conversation with any man, woman, or child in the word. I follow my heart and let my guard down with new loving people around the world without thinking twice. I grow business and help others daily. I work hard and I play hard. I’ve grown and learned so much from the past life of mine that I now wish to help others like me that wish to do something more with their lives as well. I am passionate to help spread the word to the world so the many people that share my background and/or can benefit from its story are able to gain peace, courage, and understanding. I look forward to sharing this journey with the world.

My early life was comprised of …
Prisons, drugs, violence, kidnappings, robberies, brainwashing, mass murder, cults, rape, suicide, homicide, child molestation & torture.
Academy at Ivy Ridge & Casa By The Sea were my two “Program” schools, underneath World Wide Association of Speciality Programs
Ive been to 3 facilities labeled as Juvenile prisons, hell camps, gulag schools, or boot camps. In total I went to 9 high schools in 3 countries.
I have NO high school diploma.
I’ve been to a good few prisons & jails from Alabama to Mexico to Thailand to India.
I’ve been in rehabs, psych facilities, testing centers, and knew what quarantine meant before COVID.
I’ve had at least 15 major surgeries , multiple broken bones, stabbings, broken noses, broken jaws, cut in half arms, and more. Hospitals have been a normal & not because my dad is a doctor.
Just Last year alone, I nearly died 3 exactly times , once in Thailand, once in India, once in Kansas.
I’ve been shot at , robbed, and jumped. A few times each.
NOTHING I mean none of that simple shit above compares to the nightmares these places left with me.
Im glad this documentary came out and people can start to understand how you break a kid and create a monster.
Im hoping that a parent that sees it thinks 100 times before sending their kid anywhere.
Im hoping it touches something in someone’s soul that sparks actual change in the processes that allow for these schools.
Im hoping someone finally gives a fu*k and that all the people that said I was lying or didn’t understand or believe how I was pulled out of my bed at 3 am by random big a*s dudes and sent across the world, twice, I’m praying this brings some understanding, peace, action, and validation for all.
These places are still open. Kids are still there. Right NOW !
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lol, not a smooth journey at all.
Even after all the years of prisons, drugs, addictions, rehabs, traumas, surgeries, break ups, over doses, NDE’s, (near death experiences) self inflicted harms, etc etc.., even after all those were left behind and changes were made, the past programs, identities, and mindsets have been a struggle to let go of.
Therapy, yoga, breath work, life coaching, tennis, and many lifestyle, eating, drinking, etc changes have kept me from dying as my childhood trauma tried to eat me alive as an adult.
Many of my stories are very very explicit and harsh.
A lot of things happened to me starting at age 11 and I also attracted much of it to me.
I am finally seeing the bigger plan in it all and realizing all these things happened for me and not just to me. My book will be coming out soon detailing the journey.
I was in Alabama State prison prison 12 years ago for selling drugs and more. I was brainstorming ways to change my life when I got out. My cell mate had a phone snuck in, so we used it to do business research. When I got out I got deeper into selling drugs until one day it all changed and I decided to leave the country and try something new. While in India I pulled out my journal and saw the hair plan, I made one social media post about it, started the company, and never looked back.
When I was in prisons, jails, boot camps, military academy’s, and boarding facilities …
I wish someone would have came in and spent time helping me make a plan to have a better life when I got out.
I wish someone told me that I’m not a criminal and convict “forever” and that this is temporary and that I don’t have to stay identified with it. I can grow way beyond it.
I wish they told me transcending it all actually wasn’t a “pussy cop out,” but a level up and a new life. I wish that learning, being loyal, having one girl, and respecting family and life was seen as cool.
I wish I was told that nature and spending time in it can help me find answers I never knew were inside me.
I wish someone came in and said to me I’m here now with you because I’ve been here before without you and I just want to make sure you know all the options you have both while here and when you leave.
I wish someone said that in order to get out this life, I have to let go of everything I know and was taught and learn it from a different mindset and perspective. I wish someone would have said that the traditions were correct and that the cultures new programming was misguiding us.
I wish someone took the time to sit with and analyze my past and mistakes and what led me to prison and how I can do different things.
I wish someone would have given me the medicines & tools that I found myself 5 years after I got out ..
I wish someone came in and gave me the hope and the dream that was almost forcefully birthed from within me.
And if all my wishes came true, I also might not be who I am today, I might not have learned all I did, I might have needed to go through it all, BUT maybe the next person will not have to go through as much to learn the lessons if they are granted the wishes I wished for in the form of a human who cares enough to share with them …
Prison
They say it all happens for a reason. This business that I started @hairmaidenindia definitely started under a bunk bed, sneaking phone calls to find out about what’s hot and not on the hair market from an Alabama State Prsion back in 2012. Another one of my many internal fears, which I’ve been pretty open about, was to share the truth in this story with my business clients and new circles. When I finally found that courage I found that my fears, once again, were totally based on my thoughts and not reality. I started speaking about how my identity began to be formed, once again, by material things and in my book, I’ll tell you why, what I did, and how I cleared that space.
Thank you for following my journey and I encourage you to read and write a response based on your thoughts. ❤️❤️❤️
Drug dealer
“Mr. Kandola you sell drugs to kids at malls and just want to be the life of the party, and I won’t have that in our city. I’m giving you 10 years.” (Bangs gavel on desk)👨⚖️👮♂️⚖️😯🤦🏽♂️
These were the words the judge in Alabama said to me right before my sentencing. I can’t say I agree with all of it, however I did let it shape my identity for so long, both before and after. I was so tied into an identity created by my peers and my past that I could not even stand up to say who I really was when my life depended on it.
The key factor in my change back then was twofold …
1️⃣First, I started to believe that there was more out there for me to do and that I don’t have to be limited, because I made some mistakes in my past. No matter what any judge, law, or society says. I’m human and humans have the beautiful resilience and capabilities to change, shift, and grow within us all.
2️⃣Second, I totally got rid of any distractions in the form of people, places, things, foods, thoughts, television, news, and music that were no longer serving me and misaligned with all the dreams my inner child wanted to pursue. You see I was so caught up in showing up and showing out for people who didn’t even care for me that I wasn’t paying attention to my internal wants, needs, beauty, and the endless possibilities for future that laid within.
*****
I invite you to be willing to give your identity some air, let it breathe and let go of whatever doesn’t serve you.

Our Strong Points
– Unprocessed & chemical-free
Our 100% Human natural Indian hair extensions are not chemically treated in any way. We take pride in our virgin temple hair and hope all our clients and members do so as well. We use a safe 3-day steam process to achieve extreme textures when our clients request them. This safe steam process doesn’t damage the cuticles the way chemicals would. Unlike most large companies we control our steam method and take time in styling our bundles. Like any real stylist knows, it is not always about speed. Good things take time.
– Triplehead Wefting Technology
Our factory in India takes pride in a progressive work space environment in combination with the proper technology and education for our staff to deliver flawless execution. We apply special detail to ensure all cuticles are aligned, the stitching is tight and neat, the correct amount of sealer is applied, and utmost care is taken during each step of the three head machine weft process. Our machines combined with our high quality thread are engineered to ensure maximum tightness in our machine hair wefts while still allowing stylists to easily pass a needle through.
– Quality that lasts years
Our Indian temple hair is the most sought after human hair on the planet. “Brazilian hair”, “peruvian hair”, and even “Cambodian hair,” “styles” can not compare to the durability and versatility of pure virgin Indian hair. Our factory uses the latest machinery and finest handymen to craft each wig, frontal, lace closure, clip on, tape in, or any hair extension piece. Our human hair can be dyed and/or steamed while still maintaining its soft feel and natural texture. We have the most rare hair extensions on earth direct from South Indian temples. Do not pay for a hair vendor, instead call our hair factory for free.
